My friends love me a lot for one basic reason; I am a jolly person and I love playing jokes on everyone. People who make others laugh are always loved by everyone; either it can be by telling jokes or playing jokes. Jokes are of many different types and you should always keep certain things in mind before playing a joke on someone. Not all jokes end up nicely; people even end up minding about what you just did with them. You have to be very careful in choosing the person whom you will play a joke on and what joke would you play as well.
At first when I was just a teenager, even I did not cared much and played on sorts of jokes on everyone. Sadly I have to admit that I have lost a few friends because of this and many people who used to respect me stopped doing so. Well, those were the early days and I did not really thought much about jokes from all the aspects. Today, when I look back at time or when someone plays a joke on me and if it hurts; I realize how people used to feel when I played bad jokes on them. Joking around and making everyone laugh is a very good thing but at the same time you need to make sure that nobody gets hurts because of your jokes.
Bad jokes cannot only hurt someone physically if your prank goes wrong but also hurt the person emotionally. Many times we do not realize and plan a joke over someone thinking that he or she would not be harmed but what we forget is the emotional aspect. Emotional damage is a lot worse compared to physical damage; always keep in mind the respect and thinking of others and whether your jokes would suit everyone or not.
I remember one of our friends left us a few years back because we started playing a lot of jokes on him. Although we knew that he does not appreciates us doing so but we continued and he emotionally got hurt terribly. Once and for all he said goodbye and left us. Since then onwards I have been really careful in playing jokes over people. You also need to make sure that the people you are playing jokes on would not mind and if they do so then please avoid it.
